As humans we are emotional and physical beings, and it’s only natural for us to go through difficult periods of our lives. I specialize in helping people who experience chronic pain, due to illness, injury or surgery. My strengths are in helping you adjust by learning how to process your feelings and take care of yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually. I'm well qualified to assist you as I have experienced a chronic illness my whole adult life. Pain may also be due to a loss like a death, or other transition in your life. We all travel this path at some point on our journey but I want you to know you're not alone.

“This difficult time you are going through is your business. Getting you through it is mine.”

My name is Cary Collins. I created Seasons of Healing Counseling Services to provide individual therapy for adults in the Charlotte, NC area. The combination of my expertise in therapy, along with the private, warm, and confidential setting I offer, will allow you to focus on what’s important – you.

We exist in a time where there are plenty of ways to communicate, yet for many of us, we feel more disconnected than ever before. Our lives our structured in such a way that it becomes difficult to slow down and feel at ease. As a result, we lose our way and begin to suffer – at work, at home, and in our relationships. Many times, we may suffer in our most important relationship, and that is the one we share with ourselves. It’s not easy to talk about our problems, and even harder to acknowledge that they exist. But if you are reading these words, you’ve taken an important step on the road to healing. Congratulations, and welcome.

According to a study by AARP magazine of over 3000 people ages 45 and up, 35 percent are chronically lonely. Those who are suffering the most are not the oldest among us but adults in their 40's and 50's.
