What lies behind us and
what lies before us are small matters
compared to what lies within us.

What is supportive holistic psychotherapy?
It is therapy that focuses on the connection between mind, body and spirit. You will be asked about your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It utilizes client-centered, family systems and cognitive behavioral theories. Keeping a journal may be strongly encouraged as part of the therapeutic process.

How long will I need therapy?
Each situation is different, depending on the type and severity of the issues, frequency of sessions and motivation of the client
to heal.

How might receiving psychotherapy affect me and those I interact with?
Psychotherapy can help you affect changes in your life in terms of behaviors, attitudes and feelings. Sometimes these can affect others close to you, and they may be threatened by the changes. Please be aware that this is a possibility.

Is my file confidential?
Yes, all paperwork in your file is confidential except in certain situations. These exceptions are if you intend to harm yourself or someone else, or if court-ordered by a judge to turn over your file. If you intend to harm yourself or others, the appropriate medical and/or legal personnel will be notified.

What is the cost of therapy? Do you accept insurance?
Please see the next page for this information.
