      FAQ and Information

      What is holistic psychotherapy?
It is therapy that focuses on the connection between mind, body and spirit. You will be asked about your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. A Self-Care plan will be devised that incorporates all of these aspects. Journaling is another tool used for healing purposes.

How long will I need therapy?
We will work together to devise a solution-focused plan to address all your issues. How many sessions are needed depends on how motivated the client is to be a participant in his/her own healing process.

How might receiving psychotherapy affect me and those I interact with?
Psychotherapy affects changes in terms of your behavior, attitudes and feelings. Sometimes these can influence others close to you and they may feel threatened by the changes in you. Please be aware that this is a possibility.

      Is my file confidential?
Yes, all paperwork is confidential except in certain situations. These exceptions are if you intend to harm yourself or someone else, or if court-ordered by a judge to turn over your file. If you intend to harm yourself or others, the appropriate medical and/or legal personnel will be notified.

      Fees and Paperwork

The fee for a 45 minute individual session is $100. This is payable at the time of service by cash or check. The fee for an individual session by phone or online is also $100. Online or phone sessions must be
paid for in advance of the session by check or credit card. If you wish to use a credit card through Pay Pal, speak with me to arrange payment before your session.

When coming for a session, you will be required to fill out paperwork regarding your personal information. You will also receive paperwork noting different policies and procedures regarding payments, missed or cancelled appointments, privacy policies and other pertinent information
      .
